Hey there everyone. Today I confess my love for Mangoes in front of you all. Yes, I love Mangoes dearly, and so does my daughter. In today’s post, I am sharing an amazingly healthy and nutritious Mango Turmeric Smoothie.
This smoothie is filled with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits, and yes, it is Vegan as well.
There is absolutely No Dairy used in making this smoothie.
A few weeks back, I went to a Juice Bar, and they had this yellow smoothie on their menu. I usually don’t prefer smoothies with dairy and bananas.
I’m not too fond of it. So smoothies are never an option for me. But this one was made of coconut water as an exciting base so, I tried and loved it.
The real gem in this smoothie was the use of Fresh Turmeric Root. My first sip got me hooked to this smoothie.
You have to try this Mango Turmeric Smoothie. #summerdrink Share on XThe fresh aroma of turmeric made it extremely enticing. It reminded me of my time spent with my Mother-In-Law; she cooked food wrapped in turmeric leaves.
I had never before experienced that fantastic aroma of fresh turmeric in any food. You will get that aroma only with the use of Fresh Turmeric Root.
Getting back to the recipe, I thought of using the fresh mangoes that are in season these days and blending it with turmeric root and little ginger with the base of coconut water.
Simple ingredient but a fantastic result. My daughter loved it. She had a glass full after her school.
You can get hold of this aromatic fresh herb at your regular groceries store. It is usually placed near the vegetables and herbs section.
This smoothie can be your go-to drink for this summer season for your family. Let’s go through the recipe.

My Little Notes
This smoothie is great for babies one year and above.
Mangoes are highly nutritious fruits. They are an excellent source of vitamin C, vitamin A, and fiber. Besides, a mango also contains vitamin E, vitamin K, vitamin B6, potassium, copper, and beta-carotene.
Mangoes are usually not suggested as babies’ first food as there is a risk of allergies and rashes, but they can be introduced in later months.
I started giving my daughter mangoes around 7 to 8 months. Ripe mangoes don’t need to be cooked, as they are soft, can easily be chewed, and are digestible.
Pick mangoes that are sturdy yet soft to touch and have a strong sweet smell, which tells that they are ready to chow down. Keep unripe mangoes in a paper bag at room temperature to ripen.
Fresh Turmeric Root has potent anti-inflammatory effects and is a powerful antioxidant. Adding this to your daily diet can help you in many ways. You can store the cut fresh turmeric by wrapping it in a paper towel and keeping it in an airtight bag or container in your refrigerator.
Turmeric Root can be used in stews, soups, smoothies, marinades, or salad dressing. Possibilities are endless.
