In the following recipe, I have made a delicious smoothie by using dates, milk, banana, walnuts and chia seeds. Then topped it with more nuts and fresh fruits like berries, since I had those and were in season.

I like to add breakfast cereal to this smoothie bowl, to give it a crunch in every bite. I usually use frozen bananas for smoothies and smoothie bowls to give it a rich creamy texture.

Yum! That looks delicious! its a nice mix of a treat (ice cream and chocolate) and healthiness (fruit and nuts). Your pictures are really great too! 🙂

I have a smoothie almost everyday for breakfast. Sometimes I turn it into a smoothie bowl. I use frozen bananas for an “ice cream” texture, because I’m vegan and like the healthy addition of a banana.
