How to make white chocolate milkshake

Hello there. It’s almost time for Halloween, and I have just the recipe you want to make for your cute little monsters. This year Halloween will look and feel a little different, but the Halloween spirit is still alive.

Today’s recipe is all about spending those precious moments with your loved ones and celebrating what we have with us. My recipe for White Chocolate Milkshake is a quick and easy recipe for the entire family.

How did I come up with this recipe?

Well, that is a good question. A few days back, I had asked my seven-year-old what she wanted to have as a Halloween special food/drink.

She said she wanted a GHOST milkshake in her words (BOOOO milkshake).

Now that made me think, and I ended up with this White Chocolate Milkshake. Nothing screams boooo like this milkshake.

What are the ingredients of the White Chocolate Milkshake?

My recipe for a white chocolate milkshake is absolutely a no-fuss recipe. If you have been following my recipes, you know I am all into no-fuss cooking.

Continuing on these lines, this milkshake has four basic ingredients: milk, vanilla ice cream, vanilla extract, and white chocolate chips. And for garnish, whipped cream.

How do I make this milkshake?

Simple, just add all the above ingredients into a blender and run it until smooth. Pour it into a serving glass or cup and garnish it with some whipped cream and white chocolate chips. And you are ready to serve.

I will like to point out a few things here:

Milk:

Make sure the milk is chilled; this milkshake tastes the best when served chilled.

White Chocolate Chips:

I have used white chocolate chips, which are a little big in size. It was my daughter’s preference. She wanted to have bits of chocolate when drinking her chocolate milkshake.

Now, this is totally up to you. You can grate the white chocolate and add to the smoothie if you don’t want any bits of chocolate while enjoying this recipe.

Also, since we are not cooking the chocolate and using all cold ingredients, some chocolate bites will be in the milkshake. It is not a smooth smoothie.

Vanilla Extract:

The milkshake is predominantly flavored with Vanilla; hence the use of good quality vanilla extract is important. The vanilla extract flavors and gives this milkshake a deliciously sweet aroma.

Vanilla Icecream:

Good quality vanilla ice cream is a must. As mentioned above, the recipe’s flavor and aroma are based on the quality of the ingredients.

No Sugar:

I have absolutely added no sugar to this recipe. I felt the ice cream and chocolate chips did their job in sweetening the milkshake. If you want, you can add some sugar according to your taste.

Can I use dairy-free milk and milk products?

Sure, you can give it a try. I have not tried this recipe with dairy-free products. But you can for sure give it a try.
