You Need:
2Dried Prunes
1Red Delicious Apple
Adash ofCinnamon Powder
Apinch ofCardamom Powder
1/4cupWater
How To Make It:
Wash, core, peel and cut an apple into pieces. Cut dried prunes into pieces. Get rid of the pit, if any.
In a pot add water, along with apple, add dried prunes pieces, cinnamon powder, and cardamom powder.
Cover and cook until apples are well done.
Once cooked, let it cool down and then run it through a food processor.
Serve.
Recipe Notes
Get rid of the prune pit.
You can mix some baby cereal (rice, oats, wholegrain) if the puree gets too watery.
And if it gets too thick, thin it with water/ formula/ breast milk. To achieve the desired consistency.
Serve this puree cold, for better flavor. This puree is on a sour side, so you can add any sweet fruit to it to make it more appealing to your baby. For eg, Banana.
