Asparagus Potatoes Pureè

Asparagus Potatoes Pureè is a perfect Springtime meal to introduce to your babies 10+ months and above.

You Need:

  • 4 spears of Asparagus
  • 1/2 cup Potatoes (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 cup Water/ Vegetable/ Chicken/Beef Stock
  • A dash of Garlic Powder
  • A dash of Roasted Cumin Powder

How To Make It:

  1. Add all the above ingredients to the pot cover and let it simmer on medium till the asparagus is cooked and becomes tender.

  2. Once done, let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes

  3. Transfer it to the food processor and turn this into a smooth puree. Add water if needed to achieve the required consistency.

  4. Serve.

Recipe Notes

  • Asparagus Potatoes Pureè can be steamed as well as pressure cooked.
  • Add water as required while pureeing it in the food processor.
  • Make sure that the asparagus is thoroughly cooked to get a smooth pureè.
  • Undercooked asparagus will give out strings that are not appealing to babies.
