You Need:
1smallRed Delicious Apple
2 to 3smalPineapple Cubes(frozen)
Adash ofCinnamon Powder
1/2cupWater
How To Make It:
Wash and cut the apple into pieces.
In a pot add water, apple, pineapple and cinnamon powder.
Cook till fruits get tender.
Once done, mash or run through food processor.
Serve.
Recipe Notes
You can peel the apple skin if you wish. I haven't peeled it, in this recipe.
You can use fresh pineapple too.
For babies, it's better to serve pineapple cooked than raw, to reduce its tartness. Once they are past their 1st birthday, it can be served raw and as finger food.
Do not mix raw pineapple with milk or milk products. It will spoil the milk and pineapple will become bitter.
