Apple With Pineapple

Fruity combination of Apple and Pineapple with Cinnamon

You Need:

  • 1 small Red Delicious Apple
  • 2 to 3 smal Pineapple Cubes (frozen)
  • A dash of Cinnamon Powder
  • 1/2 cup Water

How To Make It:

  1. Wash and cut the apple into pieces.
  2. In a pot add water, apple, pineapple and cinnamon powder.
  3. Cook till fruits get tender.
  4. Once done, mash or run through food processor.
  5. Serve.

Recipe Notes

  • You can peel the apple skin if you wish. I haven't peeled it, in this recipe.
  • You can use fresh pineapple too.
  • For babies, it's better to serve pineapple cooked than raw, to reduce its tartness. Once they are past their 1st birthday, it can be served raw and as finger food.
  • Do not mix raw pineapple with milk or milk products. It will spoil the milk and pineapple will become bitter.
