Banana and Dates Halwa. This warm and sweet No-Sugar puree is a superfood in a bowl.
Peel and cut bananas into pieces. Give it a rough chop. Wash the date and remove the pit if any. Cut into pieces
In a non stick pan, add butter/ghee. Once heated add dates pieces.
Cook them for a minute or so. Then add the banana pieces. Give it a good stir.
Now add vanilla essence, cardamom powder and nutmeg powder (if using) and mix well.
Banana pieces will start to disintegrate. Cook them till you see the bananas getting caramelized.
Once done, turn off the heat. Let it cool down.
Serve warm.
