Plums Apple Puree

A combination of sweet and sour flavors in your baby's meal. For babies 8 months and above

You Need:

  • 2 Plums
  • 1/2 Apple (sweet variety)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • A dash of Cardamom Powder

How To Make It:

  1. Wash plums well and cut them into pieces, remove the stone. Wash the apple and cut into pieces too.
  2. In a pot, add water along with pieces of plums, apple, and cardamom powder.
  3. Cook on medium till apple gets tender. Once done, switch off the heat and let it sit for few minutes to cool down a bit.
  4. Then run this puree through a food processor.
  5. Serve.

Recipe Notes

  • This puree will be more towards the sour side, so it is best to serve it with a sweet fruit like Banana.
  • When choosing an apple for this puree, pick a sweet variety like Fiji or Gala apples.
  • Plum puree can be a great topping for ice cream for kids and parents.
