Beetroot Carrot Puree

Beetroot Carrot Puree, a quick for babies 8 months and above.

You Need:

  • 1/4 cup Beetroot (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup cut carrots (chopped)
  • A dash of Garlic Powder
  • A dash of Cinnamon Powder
  • 1/2 cup Water

How To Make It:

  1. Wash, peel and cut both the root vegetables.
  2. In a pot, add water along with beets, carrots, and spices. Cover them and let them cook until tender.
  3. Once done, mash or run it through a food processor.
  4. Serve.

Recipe Notes

  • You can steam or pressure cook these vegetables.
  • This puree can be mixed with any baby cereal and served.
  • While cutting beets, its color might set on your hands. You can get rid of it by rubbing some lemon juice or just washing thoroughly with soap.
