Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate

Hi there. And it’s Fall. The season when it’s not too hot and not too cold, where people from Arizona can finally drive their convertibles. Yayy.

These are the days wherein you can end your day with a delicious warm drink. Hence comes today’s recipe. I am sharing my simple recipe for Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate.

Idea Of Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate:

While thinking about the Fall recipe, I wanted to go with a drink this time. It’s been quite a while; I haven’t shared one with you all.

Also, I wanted my six-year-old to start having warm milk products. My daughter likes her milk Cold, even during the wintertime. So I thought of making Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate to get her used to drink warm milk.

Ingredients

About The Recipe:

For making this delicious drink, I skipped the pumpkin puree. I focused more on the aromas and flavors that will come from Pumpkin Spice itself. Also, I have come across kids who do not like milk with pumpkin in it. (like my Miss K)

But you can add pumpkin puree if you want to. Just adjust the pumpkin spice and chocolate accordingly.

How To Make Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate:

I start by heating organic dairy milk. You can use any milk according to your preference. Then add some chocolate chips. I kept stirring until everything melts into a smooth mixture. Make sure not to boil.

The next step is to add the pumpkin spice and vanilla extract. I have skipped sugar for this recipe. It’s up to you to add more sugar if needed.

This is a very rich drink. You can adjust the number of chocolate chips according to your preference.

For serving, I pour this in a tall cup and add whipped cream. I like to decorate it with whipped cream and chocolate caramel syrup.

Let’s go through the recipe.
