Shortcut baby food Ideas-1

Lately, I have been working on baby food recipes which don’t  require cooking. They are the simplest and the easiest form of making baby food in just minutes. Whenever I am in a hurry, I serve these to my daughter. She gets her all the required nutrients and without me standing in front of the stove. I call them “Shortcut recipes”. I will be sharing these ideas once in a while as I make them. Remember these really shortcut recipes, don’t get used to them. Standing in front of the stove and making a good wholesome meal is always the best thing to do for your baby.

First is Baby Rice Cereal with Blueberries. I took 1 1/2 tablespoon of organic baby rice cereal and added a handful frozen blueberries to it and mixed it with water, till I reached the required consistency (breast milk or formula can be added too). You can also add fresh blueberries, just chop them into small pieces. I have been serving this shortcut meal to my daughter since 7 months. Blueberries have antioxidant, anticancer, cardiovascular, cognitive benefits and are good for eyes. This can be a great breakfast option.

The second one is Baby Wholegrain Cereal with the dash of Cinnamon. I just mixed 2 tablespoons of organic whole grain cereal with a dash of cinnamon. Then I added water to get the required consistency. You can also add breast milk or formula. I introduced this to my daughter around 6 months, and she has been enjoying since then. She gets nutrients from both whole grains and cinnamon.

So these were today’s shortcut ideas, will come back with some more soon. When in a hurry make these.

Important Note:

Talk to your baby’s Pediatrician before starting any new food.
