Hello, everyone. “2014” is about to end in just two days. This year was quite a memorable for me. Two important things happened this year. It was the year when my little daughter turned ‘One’. That was the happiest day for me. I still cherish those moments. Second, was the start of this web site. It is still a work in progress and is growing. For that, I am thankful to all of you for making it so successful.

Today, I have compiled the list of recipes for babies which are good for this winter season. It is the list of 10 wonderful and comforting meals for your babies in these cold days. The list includes recipes made from winter squashes (butternut squash, yellow squash, acorn squash), apples, pears, quinoa, just to name few. All are packed with vitamins, minerals, folate, fiber etc. So next time, when in doubt what to serve to your baby for the next meal. This list is there for you.

1) Squash Melody: {6 months and above}

This is a mix of butternut squash, acorn squash and yellow squash with sweet potatoes and some Italian seasoning.

2) Acorn Squash with Apple {6 months and above}

Acorn Squash with apple and flavored with little nutmeg and cinnamon powder.

3) Sweet Potato with Apple and Cinnamon {6 months and above}

This has yummy sweet potatoes and delicious apples. It is flavored with a little bit of cinnamon powder.

4) Winter Squash with Cumin {6 months and above}

A combination of butternut squash and acorn squash with a little bit of cumin powder.

5) Sweet Potato with Pears {6 months and above}

Pears combined with sweet potatoes and added cinnamon powder for a boost of flavor.

6) Acorn Squash with Quinoa and Millet {8 months and above}

A meal in itself. Acorn squash combined with quinoa and millets with Italian seasoning and cumin powder for flavor.

7) Apple with Carrots and Raisins {8 months and above}

Apple and carrots together with some raisins. This puree has the lot of fibers and can be a good meal if a baby has little tummy trouble.

8) Millet with Broccoli and Carrot {8 months and above}

Little millet pearls, combined with broccoli and carrots with added flavor of garlic and cumin powder to give it a savory taste.

9) Thick Lima Bean Soup {1 year and above}

Healthy and nutritious lima bean soup for your little one in these cold days.

10) Carrot and Potato Soup {1 year and above}

A creamy and delicious carrot and potato soup. A meal in itself.
